TRAVEL LIGHT
It finally looks as though he might be able to get off the station — but apparently, not without some help. The teleportation device doesn't look like anything Newt has encountered before, although that's really to be expected, and it seems to work in the same way that Apparition does.
Somehow, though, he doesn't think trying to simply Apparate off the station will work out.
With a little help, he lands on El Nysa, managing to stay upright even though the trip was a little more uncomfortable than he was expecting. Rather like trying to Apparate the length of England — the further you go, the more dizzying it gets, and the more likely you are to splinch yourself.
"Thank you," he says to his partner, with a nod.
HOME SWEET HOME
Once the rather intimidating Guard has let him be, Newt wanders off, still pulling at the name tag and feeling quite lopsided without the familiar weight of his briefcase in his hand. Getting it back is the number one priority in his mind at the moment — he hardly has room to be bothered by the fact that, apparently, he's been assigned housing.
To his great interest, though, there are humans (and humanoid creatures) of all different origins here, and he spends a few moments standing to one side just looking at them all, his head turning this way and that as he follows them going about their business. El Nysa is bustling, and he hopes it won't be too difficult to blend in with the hubbub.
BENEATH THE SURFACE
Wanting to get a better idea of the layout of the city he's landed in, Newt decides to explore a little further afield, and ends up in Flona Cove. The coast seems different, somehow, to the places back on Earth — or perhaps he's just being overly-critical of his new home.
He can see a few boats out on the water, and even a few divers swimming around with dolphins. Or other kinds of sea creatures, maybe? Curious, he decides to go take a look, and takes ownership of an unmanned boat nearby, pushing it into the water. When no one shouts at him for stealing their boat, he taps the hull with his wand, relieved that he can still at least power a boat without having to row it himself.
There's what looks like Muggle diving gear in the boat too, but he isn't quite keen to try it on just yet, so he keeps going out to sea, peering over the sides of the boat into the murky blue depths. As the boat bobs along, Newt passes plenty of people swimming around, or on boats of their own, but no creatures yet.

"The Bubble-Head Charm should work, if I can extend it," he ponders, more to himself than to his new companion. Still staring down into the water, Newt taps his wand absently against the side of the boat. Staying dry would be ideal, but it won't be an easy piece of magic to pull off.
"If you want to come with me. You might have to climb into this boat, though, I don't think I'll be able to make it big enough to fit both. I'm not even sure I'll be able to make it big enough to fit one. I've never tried."

Venom steers his boat close enough for him to climb over, keeping himself steady before lowering himself to sit. The empty boat should be fine while they're gone. "I'm Venom, by the way." May as well introduce himself since the other was gracious enough to offer him the opportunity to tag along.
